As part of the service to it’s Members, FBUMA provides workshops on the following subjects:

Furniture Combined Collective Agreement

This workshop is designed to guide members through the complexities of the Collective Agreement in an understandable format. It will explain contents, including the most recent changes and ensure that you understand cost implications and avoid compliance orders by the Furniture Bargaining Council.

Discipline Management in the Workplace

Discipline in the work place and especially dismissing employees, remain a high risk area for companies, unless Management delegates have sufficient knowledge to deal with it correctly.  The workshop focus on discipline management in accordance with fair labour practices to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the company and employees.
   
The workshops provide practical examples and manuals are provide to Fbuma members free of charge.
